Performance in the public space, 2020

Classical Non Governmental Organisation For Reclaiming Space In The Public Sphere And Reestablishing Fundamental Feminist Rights

How are public places structured and how accessible are they to different kinds of people?
Who looks at whom and how? And how do these structures reproduce and reinforce certain subject positions?

C.N.G.O.F.R.S.I.T.P.S.A.R.F.F.R. was a group performance in the public space of Weimar.
The intervention in the public space opened a discussion about the imbalance of gender representation in the public space.
The performers went to different places in the city and tried to enter into a dialogue with passers-by. They intervened in normative structures and set new boundaries. For example, they put masks on statues and refashioned them with a picture of a famous artist from the Bauhaus University.
